“Mile High” Nod to Nature – Lululemon, Park Meadows Mall, Lone Tree, Colorado
Locally sourced salvaged Red Alder end cuts create a tactile storefront that begs to be touched while rooting the store in the community. The angle of the storefront combined with the scale, colors, and pattern of the materials make the store stand out from mall neighbors. The 6,000 wood ends are painted in a gradation from deep blue to white, which represent colors in the state flower. LED backlighting mimics the sun shining through stacked wood.
